Net Roster Assistance Needed

Hello.  I am looking for someone to review the posted net roster for errors, omissions, and needed deletions.

If you can help out, please let me know.  This roster is also located under the “Net *” tab on the main menu.

We strive to keep this document reasonably accurate to the extent possible.

Color Coding – Some nets are mis labeled as to their primary purpose. Many nets are “multipurpose”.

Note:  I have already started receiving updates and corrections for this listing.  Thank you.  Look for a new “roster” in the next few days.

Happy New Year!

After Action Report 3 AUGUST NM EMCOM 3939 LSB

After Action Report 3 AUGUST NM EMCOM
Conditions were above average from my vantage point as the NCS as I was getting 59 reports from most all stations. We did have some lightning crash noise from frontal weather.
As NCS, I did not need to use the Utah Web SDR. I activated Net Logger, but due to workload, I was not able to keep track as well as I would have liked. We will try Net logger again in September.
This was a great turnout with the most NM counties participating since I have been involved with this net (14)
The following counties participated using SSB or Winlink:
Bernalillo, Chaves, Eddy, Grant, Lincoln, McKinley, Otero, San Juan, Sandoval, Sierra, Socorro, Taos, Torrance and Valencia.
Numerous QST’s to include ARES meeting dates.
Up Next:
Sunday September 7, 730pm Local time
W5ACW, Al from Valencia is NCS. Tom N5ATR will assist and log using Net Logger.

NM Public Service Event Update

AMATEUR RADIO

PUBLIC SERVICE EVENTS CALENDAR as of 7/2/2025

Information/volunteers: please contact Ed Ricco, N5LI unless otherwise indicated in the description of the particular event.  n5li@arrl.net

Notes and comments:

  1. Changes from last listing: Added Day of the Tread, October 25 & 26.

  1. The Tour of the Rio Grande Valley, which ordinarily occurs late in September, is scheduled for September 28, 2025, but it will be a virtual ride this year without organized support, so there will be no communications support needed.

October 19, 2025 – Duke City Marathon.  Albuquerque area amateurs have supported this event for more than 20 years.  As in recent past years, the marathon will follow an out-and-back course from downtown Albuquerque north along the bosque bike path to Paseo del Norte and east to a turnaround point near Edith Blvd., then return.  A half marathon and 10K and 5K runs are included in the event, as well as several walks of varying distances.  We will need a substantial number of volunteers to cover rest stops along the course, to provide medical communications, and to shadow race officials as well as a few bicycle mobile stations and sag vehicles.  Contact me to volunteer.

October 25 & 26, 2025 – Day of the Tread.  Day of the Tread is a Halloween-themed bicycling event for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. It is a two-day event with a “Gravel Grinder” on Saturday October 25 and road events on Sunday October 26. We would need to field 7 positions on Saturday and 19 positions on Sunday. This is a well-run event that is almost 20 years old. It is a high-profile event for Albuquerque and the courses on both days are mostly in the Albuquerque area. For questions and to volunteer contact Ron Guerrero KF5MTU,  ron@ronguerrero.com.
